🍸️ A customer wanted to upgrade their process for automation on products such as Gin, Whisky and Rum with Vodka at the first stage of the process.

💰️ Their budget was £600,000 and the options they were looking at would have cost them over £1 million.

Due to the ATEX application we proposed using a ATEX pigging system to recover the product in the lines.

The money they have saved on product recovery will pay for the whole project. payback of less than 3 months.

The Good News that followed was they are ordering another 3 pigging systems!

We could have done what others did and just quote for the Mixproof valves! Instead, we suggested an alternative with a better return for our customer. ✅️

The customer is very pleased with the pigging system and the HpE Team.🙂

Seals and Pig replacements for our pigging systems

After a pigging system has been in use for a while, it is inevitable you will be required to replace the pigs.

From other industry suppliers you would be looking at spending £1200 or more for a replacement pig with OUR pigging systems a 2” pigging lip seals replacement is £300.

MagMix comprises an in-tank stainless steel mixing head containing high-power rare-earth magnets. The mixing head is magnetically coupled to a matching external driving magnet powered by Electric or Air Motor and Gearbox assembly. The Mixing Head can be fitted with a range of Impellers to suit many applications

The MagMix is mounted on a custom designed bearing and vessel pad which can be welded or bolted versions can be offered so this can fit into the base of virtually any process vessel.

•No drive shaft through the vessel wall, eliminating the need for complicated mechanical seals which are liable to leak and can lead to product contamination
•Simple hygienic design. The compact mixing head is the only moving part inside the vessel, offering reliable and virtually maintenance free operation

•MagMix can be supplied with its own unique Control Panel to control the speed of the mixer, or it can be integrated to existing PLC’s
•Transferable drive unit, the external drive unit is attached to the mixing vessel by a quick release fitting so a single drive unit can be fitted sequentially to several mixing vessels, each equipped with vessel pads and mixing heads
•We can offer the mixing system for environments requiring full explosion proof and ATEX environments.

- The ‘One-nut’ Concept
