This week we spent 2 nights with 28 fellow tradesmen taking part in Ant Middleton Challenge The Wild Special forces training in Coniston in the Lake District.

Big thanks to Craig Wilkinson & Trades Freedom Club for organising this and giving us the opportunity to take part. Honestly the funniest couple of days pushing ourselves through our fears and building a stronger MINDSET.

We zip lined, abseiled, cold water plunged and climbed steep and high! 10pm beastings around the tree, 8am beastings around the tree but we are still standing, and standing stronger.

We are booked to go back and do this all again in September 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

What an incredible day yesterday at the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon. The crowds were unreal — every mile lined with cheers, music, and pure Yorkshire spirit. The atmosphere was electric, and the support from volunteers and spectators made it something special.

Absolutely loved every minute of it… even the tough ones! Already signed up for next year — can’t wait to do it all again. 💪💙💛

What an incredible day yesterday at the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon. The crowds were unreal — every mile lined with cheers, music, and pure Yorkshire spirit. The atmosphere was electric, and the support from volunteers and spectators made it something special.

Just out here in Lanzarote and we have this nice little heat pump that heats the swimming pool. I could be up for a relocation to be the pool guy. No solar on the roof though which was a shame

Chris has been working with Parkstone since 2017, when we first crossed paths while completing a bathroom for a close friend. After seeing the quality of his tiling and plastering first‑hand, we knew instantly he was the missing piece in our installation team. We’ve worked together ever since, delivering bathrooms finished to an exceptional standard.
His attention to detail is second to none, and his work ethic matches it — Chris is the person you want on a job when precision really matters.
Based in Castleford, Chris loves getting out on his motorbike whenever the weather gives him half a chance. He’s also a big fan of the outdoors, often heading into the hills for a hike with his wife and their dog.

Charlie is the newest member of the Parkstone team, joining in December 2025. His main role is handling all incoming calls and messages, helping customers get booked in quickly and smoothly. He’s settled in brilliantly, bringing a calm, friendly presence to the front end of the business — and he’s already earning mentions in our Google reviews for his helpful approach.

Bio: Ben Thornton — Plumbing & Heating Engineer
Ben joined Parkstone as an apprentice in 2021, splitting his time between college and hands‑on training alongside Ian and Anthony. Since completing his NVQ in Plumbing and his ACS Gas Safety qualifications, he’s gone from strength to strength. Ben is now a highly capable engineer and a valued member of the team — customers are always pleased to see him arrive when something needs sorting.
He’s known for his positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the calm, friendly way he approaches every job.
Outside of work, Ben is a loyal Bradford City supporter (yes, they really do have fans), and he’s been playing football himself since he was young. He also keeps up a regular gym routine and enjoys staying active.

Bio: Ian Kendall — Director & Heating Engineer
With 26 years in the plumbing and heating industry, Ian brings deep technical expertise and a steady hand to Parkstone. He began his career in Sheffield, completing his apprenticeship while working on large pub and hotel refurbishments across the country. Since then, he’s gained experience across every corner of the industry — from new‑build developments to social housing regeneration — before spending a decade as an engineer with British Gas. Today, he’s the co‑owner of Parkstone Heating, overseeing installations, standards, and the continued growth of the business.
Ian’s known for his calm, methodical approach, his high standards on every job, and his ability to support both customers and engineers with clear, practical guidance.
Outside of work, Ian is usually up before sunrise and in the gym, or heading for the hills in his campervan. He’s happiest in the mountains — hiking or running the fells in all weathers with his partner and their dogs. Parkstone proudly sponsor his daughter’s U14s football team, and you’ll often find Ian on the sidelines, cheering them on
