Job Title: Machine Operator
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 12 hour rotating shift pattern (4 on, 4 off)

Responsibilities:

Set up machines at the beginning of shifts to ensure they are in proper working order

Monitor machines to ensure they are working optimally during the production process

Make sure machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on outputs.

Maintain up-to-date paperwork for every job that is run

General labouring and cleaning duties when required

Assist other operators when setting up and running machinery

Job Title: Blown Film Extrusion Operator
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 12 hour rotating shift pattern (4 on, 4 off)

Responsibilities:
Changing over, setting and starting the extrusion process where training and skills allow.

Monitor machines to ensure they are working optimally during the production process.

Checking product specification against work instructions by carrying out regular checks on outputs.

Promptly notifying shift leaders if a product is out of specification.

Maintain up-to-date paperwork for every job that is run.

Maintain housekeeping, ensuring that the working area is clean, tidy and hazard free.

Assist other operators when setting up and running machinery.

Carry out any reasonably requested duty as required by management.

Work to all company and legislative health and safety guidance and policies.

Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will be reliable, a good timekeeper, self motivated, good attention to detail, work on their own initiative and able to work as part of a team.

Qualification/Experience:
Previous experience of operating extrusion machines is preferred. A valid fork lift truck licence is beneficial but not essential.

The role will include: liaising with customers and our sales and production teams, order processing and general admin duties.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
