It’s been a while since we’ve posted on here… you’d be forgiven for thinking we’d retired.

We haven’t – just been flat out behind the scenes.

Here’s one of our recent bathroom installs – clean, modern finish with marble-effect tiling, brushed brass fittings and a walk-in shower with recessed niche detail.

Final decorating still to be completed, but already looking the part.

Also, a quick mention that Amy has come on board helping with bookings and messages – thank you to everyone who’s been so welcoming and patient while we’ve been getting things organised.

Just a reminder we now have a new business number – 07359 238161.

We’ll try and be a bit better at sharing what we’ve been up to (no promises).

Original Issue:
Significant water intrusion was occurring due to a leaking shower area, resulting in extensive damage to the ceiling below and affecting the adjacent flooring.

Remedial Work Completed:
The damaged wall and floor areas were fully removed and replaced. Comprehensive waterproofing was carried out in accordance with industry standards to ensure long-term durability and prevent future water ingress. At the client's request, the original tile design was carefully preserved and reinstated. The shower area is now good as new! 👍🏻

A recently completed boiler repair along with a full service. This boiler had not be serviced for some years. A full strip down of the boiler was required. The extension vessel had burst causing high pressure in the boiler and causing it to permanently lose pressure. The flue had not been sealed by the installers and required some pointing up. The gas valve needed to be adjusted with new gasket seals for the main heat exchanged. The customoer opted for new electrodes whilst I had the boiler in pieces and a carbon monoxide detector placed around the boiler for future peace of mind. The plate heat exchanger required a service due to low hot water output. One very happy customer once it was all completed. PS I did place the clip back over the electrode connection which had also been left open 😂

A recently completed En-Suite. New shower tray and glass, main shower changed. Extraction added through the ceiling and out through the roof. The tiles remained with a few small repairs and a re grout across the room. Painted with anti mould. New basin unit, radiator and floor. I had fun on this one. The puppy made each morning visit exciting too 😄

A recently completed first and completed second fix on a kitchen. The gas hob was relocated to a new location. Washing machine was also moved. A new radiator installed with BTU calculated to adequately heat the room. As always the customer was a pleasure and also happens to do shirt embroidery. Wayne has been doing my workwear for me for a couple of years. I know he would appreciate a follow Pryor Prints

A bathroom I completed a few months ago, previous issues of leaks reported which had not be resolved. A very friendly customer who decided for a rip out and re start. The floor was found to be completely rotten with poor ventilation due to an undersized extraction system for the bathroom. New waterproof flooring installed, new extraction system installed, new lighting with panels chosen in the shower area to make for easy maintenance in the future. My plasterer gave the ceiling a refresh and finished in bathroom paint with anti mould and condensate additive added to help in the future. As with all of my customers this lady was a pleasure to work for.
