100 year anniversary.
The Curtis family first moved to Newtown Grange Farm on 2nd October 1921. My grandad moved here as a little boy when his family moved here from Whetstone (I think)
Grange Farm has seen many changes over the years. We are no longer farming the land, don't milk cows or keep chickens anymore.
Some of the buildings were used as a livery yard for a number of years before being changed to offices.
I can say that the names of the offices do relate to what the buildings were used as in the past.
The Dairy used to house the milking parlour and my desk currently sits just about where the cows used to be!
The Granary had the old grain mill and storage areas and The Stables really did house horses for a while.
Its changed a lot over the years but I hold many happy memories of a happy childhood spent here.
