We are currently looking for an Experienced Caretaker to join our existing team. This position will be a full time Mobile Caretaker covering the South East area. The Caretaker will be working across multiple sites daily basis, ensuring all buildings are kept clean and tidy undertaking any basic maintenance required. Communicating with our clients ensuring that we are delivering a first class service within a timely manner.
Caretaker Responsibilities but not limited to:
• Cleaning all communal glazed areas internally & externally within reach
• Dusting, polishing banisters, doorframe’s, ledges, skirting boards & light fittings
• Vacuum all communal area carpets
• Ensuring all communal areas are immaculately presented at all times
• Sweeping, washing and disinfecting refuse and bin areas
• Maintaining the external communal areas ensuring there is no litter, leaves or obstructions, sweeping when required including the car park areas
• Completing and maintaining the required records monitoring sheets, managing emails, phone calls to the office to ensure information is accurate and up to date
• Report any communal repairs required, working along side the clients to identify any site incidents and any bulk waste items or objects that need removing
• Undertake basic maintenance such as changing light bulbs and minor repairs
• On site point of contact for contractors, participating in Site Inspections and training
• Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained to a suitable standard
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations policies and procedures
Skills and experiences:
• Previous Caretaker or cleaning experience is essential
• Full UK Driving Licence essential as a company van will be provided for business use only
• Ability to be able to work unsupervised and use own initiative, also work as part of a team
• Good time management skills and reliable
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility to cover emergency and multi team cover
• IT emails and smartphone technology
This is a full time role Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
Salary £11.44 - £13.50 per hour depending on experience
