Due to an increase in secured work Cm Civils & Surveys Ltd are looking for a Site Engineer to join our growing team! If you have a hands on positive attitude, strong technical skills, and a passion for delivering high quality — we want to hear from you.
Job description:
In this role you will be expected to provide site engineering skills to meet the demands and expectations of multiple diverse projects throughout the East Midlands across multiple sectors - Residential, commercial and more. You will be expected to record and report on job progress keeping up to date site reports and as built data. We are looking for someone who is confident, hardworking and able to use their own initiative and apply themselves to the role.
We would consider candidates that meet the following requirements:
- Hold a current CSCS card
- 5+ years experience
- Full UK Driving License
- High level of self motivation
- Ability to work in a team
- Good time management and communication skills
- HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (not essential)
The main duties for this role are:
- Setting out to accurate line and level
- Check site drawings and specifications documents
- Communicate with site supervisors to ensure full understanding of information provided
- Maintain good relationships with clients
- Monitor and record site progress, reviewing quality and acquiring as built data
- Maintain site control and regularly check quality
- Ensure high levels of health and safety are met
