The importance of using professional, gas safe engineers when having gas appliances serviced/maintained

This customers boiler and top of the range ideal vogue was leaking carbon dioxide due to incorrect servicing procedures

We were called upon to diagnose a breakdown with the boiler & spotted the below signs on our initial call out

The appliance was capped and made safe until new parts could be fitted

The main burner seal had failed along with other components

Do you have cold radiators? Here’s a short clip of a power flushing machine in action. As magnetite is forced away from your system and radiators this large magnet attracts and catches those particles that can be pumped back into your boiler causing expensive breakdowns. Over time radiators can block up and become less efficient due to the chemical reaction happening inside your system.
