This thermal image shows how important panel maintenace is to identify burnt out cells which can cause hot spots and in some cases fires. The efficiency is significantly diminished as a result.

There can be lots of other causes of reduced efficiency, from not maintaining and cleaning panels.

PANEL CLEANING 🧼

This is vital to maintain a healthy solar panel system

The lichen (a type of fungus) on the glass visible to the naked eye, can cause hot spots and shading which can damage the panel cells and reduce yield. In worse case sicarios this can burn out the cells which can be a serious fire risk. 🔥
