Carpenters wanted!

We are a small construction business based in Liphook, Hampshire, working predominantly in Guildford/farnham/Godalming/Haslemere and surrounding villages. We are seeking skilled and experienced carpenters to join us on a full time basis. 0730 -1630

We cover all aspects of construction work and work on some prestigious private homes as well as some commercial properties. Our work ranges from Oak framing, roof construction, windows, stairs, studwork through to second fixing and installation of our bespoke joinery made kitchens and dressing rooms etc.

The ideal candidates would be motivated and practical with a can do attitude, attention to detail along with being able to interact with clients and colleagues whilst maintaining a clean and safe workplace. Driving license essential.

Exciting job opportunity

Iron Hill is hiring an office manager to head up the office side of our construction business. Flexible role 3-5 days a week. Based GU35. Very competitive salary. Ideal role to work around children as hours are flexible.

Job Duties

• Managing new business enquiries
• Liaising with and communicating with existing clients
• Recording financial transactions
• Filing all invoices
• Liaising with the accountant
• Answering the phone to suppliers and clients
• Setting up appointments for clients as necessary
• Checking multiple email inboxes and answering queries
• Providing administrative and clerical support as needed
• Maintaining vehicle information and booking in MOT’s and Services for all vehicles as necessary
• Help with recruitment of staff where necessary
• Managing Health and Safety requirements of the business

Qualifications and Skills

You will be a highly organised and efficient worker who is excellent at problem solving and thinking outside the box. You will have experience working in a busy office environment dealing with multiple phone calls and emails. You will have excellent customer service skills and be good at multitasking. You will be able to work using your own initiative and be pro-active.

• Ideally good knowledge of Microsoft office Word and Excel
• Knowledge of Xero is preferred
• You will be trained to use the company CRM
• Ability to operate basic office equipment
