It’s been an eventful week!

We’ve dealt with ice, rain, a storm and everything in between 😅

We did make and replace some garage doors for a customer in Launceston this week but didn’t get the chance to post due to storm repairs.

The doors were made on site, and designed to the customers request and specs.

The previous doors had sagged, rotted and the fixings had failed. So we built the new bi-fold doors on site, replaced the frame and hung the new doors 😁

The customer is over the moon with the results 😍
The doors will be painted by the customer in the coming weeks, but the garage is now secure and looks a whole lot better 😁

We’ve had a busy day dealing with the aftermath from the storm!

Judging by the videos and pictures we’ve seen, I think we missed the worst of it the north end of the county!

We are still answering enquiries and our phone is on if anyone has storm damage that needs sorting or advice on anything that might be concerning you 👍🏻

It’s been a hard and busy year, but we’ve achieved so much, met new people and helped our customers make their ideas a reality 😁

We aren’t finished for the year yet though! Our phone is always on and we will reply to messages as quickly as we can.

We’ve spent this week fitting new doors into a lovely little bungalow.

The new doors really do give the property a fantastic facelift and will look even better once painted.

Not one of the frames was square 🫣 a few of them will be fixed in situ in the coming weeks by us 💪🏼

The 4 panel doors that were previously used at the property were damaged and one in particular was installed as can be seen in the picture 😶

The new door was installed and cut down evenly and it looks a whole lot better!

We had a lovely update from a customer today 😊

We did a flagstone floor in a beautiful listed farmhouse in Pillaton. The customer has since decorated and refurnished the room and it really looks incredible!

Such a warm and welcoming feel 🥰

It’s great to get updates from customers, it’s always amazing to see the completely finished project

We are done!

Our job at Pillaton is finished 😊

it’s been a tough few months and we hit a few unexpected surprises along the way, but the building is now render free and repointed with a lime mortar which will allow it to breathe.

There are a few little snags to do once the final window is installed and the exterior pipework etc has been replaced, but it will only be a day or two of tiddly pomming 😉

The customers are happy with the finished result and passers by have commented throughout the whole process ☺️

Had a busy few weeks!

We’ve been working in a beautiful listed farmhouse and have removed an old, tiled floor and replaced with amazing modern slate flag stones.

It’s been a hard graft, a lot of digging and moving materials but the end result looks incredible!

The customer spent a lot of time researching and sourcing the flag stones to make sure they were suitable for the nature of the property, the listing and aesthetically pleasing.

Beautiful slabs to lay, thank you Contec South West Limited for supplying them 😁

We found the original Hearth whilst removing the old floor, it had been screeded and tiled over 😶 absolutely criminal!

We also attended the Liskeard Traders Association Gala, which was an honour to be nominated for Best new Business 🥰 we had an amazing evening and a well deserved rest

Last night was liskeard traders association business awards which I was honoured to be invited to and nominated for Best New Business.

Unfortunately no win this time but, we had a fabulous evening. Fantastic food & company.

It was an amazing turn out, organised by Liskeard Traders Association and hosted at Moghhe which is an incredible venue in the centre of liskeard!

Congratulations to all who were nominated and all who won awards 🤩

It really shows local businesses are appreciated 🥰

Had a manic few weeks!

The weather has been all over the place so we’ve had to juggle things around to fit around the rain and sun.

A new kitchen fitted after the property was damaged by a fire. Amazing kitchen as always from Armada Kitchens & Bathrooms

The porch was stripped of render and pointed to give the entrance to the property its original beauty
