ILD Jotul Stove installed and Chimney repointed Groombridge.
A corroded ridged metal flue was removed from the chimney and replaced with a new 904 grade stainless steel liner.
Externally the chimney pointing was fully racked out and replaced, adding 2 Reclaimed chimney pots, a top corbel course added and the chimney crown top was replaced.

Large 40kw Wood burning boiler flue installed.
The flue had been fitted horizontally through the wooden clad wall.
We advised not to light the boiler and changed the flue run to avoid the combustible wall.
A fire board with cool air gap was fitted to the internal timber to protect it from the heat that will be radiated from the boiler, and we ran the flue internally and through the metal roof, combustible insulation was removed from the between the roof sheets, and a lead flashing was used to weather the roof.

Orka Heatwave 5Kw Stove installed in Shoreham this week.
The chamber was too small to accommodate a stove, so we bricked up the opening, stone was saved from the old hearth and used to infill the area.
Twin wall flue was used from the stove up and through the wall to prevent the stone from being damaged from the heat radiated from the flue as it passes through the wall, then connected into a 150mm diameter liner in the brick class 1 chimney, backfilled with cement around the base to prevent any movement in the fittings, terminated with a rain and bird protection cowl.

SUMMER 2024
A large section of this Amazing Limestone wall surrounding a walled garden had unfortunately collapsed.
We cleaned up the fallen stone a set to work rebuilding it back up again.
