A few weeks ago, ACC Renewable Energy was proud to play our part in this fantastic Plus Dane Housing social value project, funded by Next Energy.

As part of our own commitment to social value, ACC also contributed directly to the project by providing a significant discount on the installation, helping make sure even more of the available funding went towards delivering real benefits for the community.

⛪️ Project Spotlight | St Mary’s Church, West Derby ☀️🔋

After a busy few months, we’re proud to finally share one of our most rewarding projects to date.

As we celebrate our 6th year anniversary and continue going from strength to strength, St Mary’s Church, West Derby has officially completed Phase 1 of its solar PV and battery storage installation.

This project has been over a year in the making, from our initial quotation through to the many approvals required by the Church of England and the Diocese of Liverpool. It was a privilege to receive the final approval, complete with the historic wax-sealed authorisation, before work could begin.

The entire first phase was completed in just one day by our incredible ACC Renewable Energy team, showcasing the planning, experience and teamwork that goes into every installation.

It’s a fantastic feeling to know that this church and its community centre are now generating the majority of their electricity from the sun, reducing both energy costs and reliance on fossil fuels for years to come.

Happy Friday! Another 5-star review ⭐

One of many installations completed this week: 14 × 475W Gen 3 AIKO panels, with 8 on a south-west roof and 6 south-facing, generating just under 6,000 kWh per year.

This system includes an all-in-one 10kW Sigenergy inverter and battery storage setup, easily scalable up to 60kW, offering up to 54.2kW of usable power. It can be charged overnight on a lower-rate tariff, helping maximise savings.

Not only is this setup powerful, it’s also incredibly tidy and pleasing to the eye — even when installed in a visible location. The decorative LED lighting can be adjusted to suit the evening or occasion, while still delivering full power to the property.

With an estimated carbon saving of 1,200kg per year and an ROI of just 7 years, the client was delighted with the service and information provided by ACC, leaving us a glowing review and excellent feedback.

Small but mighty 💪☀️

This Sigenergy inverter, battery all in one and solar Pv is one of plenty we’ve completed over the past couple of weeks, and it really shows just how compact this system is while still delivering everything the client needs.

Installed with 13 x Aiko 465W all-black panels, split across south-east and south-west facing roofs, this system will generate plenty of energy to help cover the property’s electricity usage. Paired with 10kW of battery storage, the homeowner can also charge up off-peak using the intelligent go tariff, helping maximise ROI while reducing reliance on the grid.

Even better, this install will save an estimated 1,022kg of carbon emissions, making it a win-win for both energy efficiency and sustainability.
