Good transformation on this recent fit-out in Crosby.

Kitchen supplied by myself, manufactured and hand-sprayed locally in Southport. Worktops are also locally manufactured.

Solid ash doors with oak internals, finished in Ammonite by Farrow & Ball.

Works included:

-Full rip-out back to brick and reboard.

-New lowered ceiling and full plastering.

-Complete kitchen rewire, with a separate consumer unit neatly housed in a unit.

-Full floor removal, screeding and tiling.

-Relocation of stop tap and gas feeds.

Not the easiest one with rear alley access, but worth it when it comes together like this.

A nice little re-work and modernisation in Formby. We moved a wall to enlarge the en-suite and open up the main bathroom, which made a huge difference to both spaces. Having fitted their kitchen last year, the client wanted to carry on the gloss white theme.

The job included:
• Full waterproofing, boarding and reskim of the en-suite
• Full reskim of the main bathroom
• Complete new plumbing and bathroom suites
• New electrics and lighting, with LEDs linked to Philips Hue
• Quartz worktops templated and fitted by myself
• Full tiling throughout
• Installation of client-supplied furniture
• Custom gloss white boiler cabinet, manufactured locally
• Herringbone SPC flooring and associated joinery works

Back onto kitchens for the next few. The diary is busy for the coming months but im always out priving up if you have a project in mind.

Some recently installed flat front doors, completed in a day. One decorated, one ready to be decorated by the client.

I do a lot of these, and it’s something I’ll be talking about in more detail soon.

It’s disappointing how many doors I’m asked to fix after someone else has been in and “made the door compliant”. Fire doesn’t care how cheap the job was — and there’s a reason things need to be done properly.

For clarity, when I carry out these installations:
✔ Old doors and frames are fully removed
✔ New frames installed
✔ Correct fire-stopping materials used
✔ Fire-rated doors and ironmongery fitted
✔ Installation documentation issued

It also frustrates me that flat owners often have this work pushed onto them by the building leaseholder, with little explanation or choice.

That’s why I aim to keep my service honest, affordable, and friendly.

Enjoyed this one! Great Clients in Maghull, they were a pleasure to work for, and between myself, Flooring Supply Centre and Prestige Granite & Marble Ltd everything went smoothly and was conpleted in under 15 days, including the 80m2 of LVT. As mentioned the other day, working with suppliers I trust really does make a difference on the job as a whole. The whole downstairs (70m2) was dpmd & screeded following the rip out, Kitchen fit, then Quartz, as always was 3 days from template to fit. Followed by the flooring.

Love the added fleck to the Calcatta gold, works really well with the kitchen colour.

A small but tricky kitchen completed in Southport for a very old friend! Custom painted Olive green doors, oak internals with oak tops, i really hope she enjoys the space now! Cupboards were fitted with pullouts to increase the access in the space and an undermount sink used to create more worktop space.

The kitchen itself was a fairly straightforward fit but the rest of the works highlighted why its important to look at jobs as a whole project, not just the kitchen as most suppliers do, spending your budget on their kitchen.

Fortunately I supplied this one so the budget allowed for the whole package.

A tricky but rewarding kitchen in a 175-year-old property in Wavertree 🏡

Designed by the client, this one combines DIY Kitchens white units with beautiful Naked Kitchens oak elements — a perfect blend of modern and timeless craftsmanship.

Full works completed:
🔹 Full rip-out
🔹 Prep and porcelain tiling of the original suspended sandstone slab
🔹 Replastering throughout
🔹 Electrics & plumbing
🔹 Full kitchen fit
🔹 decoration

Another Bathroom, this one just tiled in porcelain tiles ready for the plumber to come back and fit the suite. After a fairly substantial rennovation I'm in after the plasterers.
