UOL Solar Challenge Team

UOL Solar Challenge Team A student led organisation working to design, build and race a Solar Powered Aeroplane for the International Solar Challenge.

Whilst much of the team's focus is on designing and building a craft that will be able to provide businesses with a working produce, we're also entered to compete in the International Solar Challenge. In 2017 we will be taking on other teams from around the world, seeking to set both a British Record, and then world Record. Long term we seek to provide a practical solution to companies and researc

h groups looking for a craft capable of sustainable unmanned flight. Such tasks for example include scientific monitoring of pollution or atmospheric disturbances or reconnaissance and surveillance over large or hostile environments.
