One of the Smaller jobs completed this week up on linaker street Southport 📍.

This week we had the pleasure to be back up at linaker street for a customer we have worked for a couple of times previously.

He got back into due to not only the appearance of the porch but a failed ash felt roof causing damp/rotten wood.

We recommended a pitch conversion using all new timber frame work and a lightweight composite slate to finish.

Full replacement fascia and gutters also installed to give it a modern clean appearance and also good functionality.

Hi everyone from the team here at reliable roofcare nw limited. 🤝

this week we have been back at the previous job in Crosby, Liverpool l23 to give the finishing touches needed.

The vaulted ceiling has now been plastered from a subcontractor we work closely with and spotlights fitted by ourselves.

The roof has now been finished with breathable felt membrane and tapco lightweight composite slates.

All trims and necessary finishings have been added finally giving this customer the appearance and functionality they deserve.

Lightweight Conservatory Roof Installation and adjacent flat roof by reliable RoofCare NW limited.

Location: rosemoor drive Crosby,l23

This customer got in touch because not only was there conservatory space to warm in the summer and to cold in the winter but this one had become beyond the point of repair with leaking and storm damage.

We visited the property, inspected the issues and advised on fitting a lightweight conversion completely changing the shape for performance and functionality. We also recommended recovering the flat roof adjacent due to general wear and tear this is how it’s going so far:

🔧 Progress Summary:

✅ Completed Tasks:
• Old Roof Removal: Polycarbonate panels safely dismantled and disposed of.
• Structural Assessment: Existing conservatory frame inspected and a decision was made to remove this completely and rebuild using 4x2 c24 graded timber including a 6x1 pressure treated ridge beam with a vaulted ceiling finish.

•structure adjustments: minor adjustments were made to the interior ceiling to accommodate for a more welcoming and open look, utilizing the space offered to ensure better lighting.
• Insulated Panels Installation: High-performance kingspan insulation panels installed to improve energy efficiency and warmth. making sure to leave the recommended air space for ventilation.

• roof windows:
Two roof windows have been installed to ensure good lighting during the day and also the added option of more ventilation when needed.

• Internal Works Begun: Initial plasterboarding of the interior is now close to being complete.
•x6 spot lights have been fitted to improve lighting at night.

•flat roof:
The old flat roof has been renewed using Firestone EPDM rubber cover. This consists of supplying and fitting 18mm osb t&g boards and a one piece membrane glued into place with the relevant contact adhesive.
Some trims and fixings are still needed this will be added in the following days.

Lightweight composite slate will be added in the following days and a plastered ceiling to finish. Keep your eyes 👀 peeled for the finished job!

Job finished off today up on linaker street southport PR8.

Massive Transformation on this for our customer to give him the appearance and functionality he needed.

removal of old asbestos roof sheets done professionally and disposed of from a local firm we work with.

Tapco lightweight conversion roof fitted and finished with white full replacement fascia and black half round guttering.

Door and windows also supplied and fitted by our selves.
