This week we have been joined by representatives from our sponsoring companies for a productive two-day onsite meeting marking the end of the second year of our SWELL Plus Joint Industry Project.

This month, we’re proud to recognise the 5 year anniversary of Ian Littlehales rejoining the Scaled Solutions team! Ian's journey with us first began when he joined Scaled Solutions as our very first employee back in February 1999. From helping establish our original lab and office infrastructure to leading projects and teams, Ian played a foundational role in shaping who we are today.

Having taken his expertise across the Atlantic to the US to continue to develop his career in the oilfield chemical sector, we were proud to welcome Ian back to the team as Technical Manager for Scaled Solutions USA in 2020. Since then, he’s been instrumental in setting up our US operations and driving business growth.

We're lucky to have Ian on the team!

Huge Congratulations to Kelly Gibson from our finance team for completing the marathon distance of the Rob Roy Mighty Hike this weekend in a time of 7 hours 53 minutes to raise money for Macmillan nurses 🥾💪

The Rob Roy Mighty Hike is a charity hiking event organised by Macmillan Cancer Support, set in the stunning Trossachs National Park in Scotland following the Rob Roy Way through breathtaking landscapes including Loch Venachar and Loch Drunkie.

Our Houston, Tx laboratory led by Ian Littlehales is proud to be supporting our US customers, providing regular analysis of water filter samples with SEM in order to indicate and quantify scale formation in their production systems. This is used to great effect in evaluating the effectiveness of scale treatments, the longevity of chemical squeeze, and when used in conjunction with our advanced squeeze and scale prediction software packages, bring efficiency to your process.
