Months of work. One incredible transformation. 🏠🔥
We’ve shared a few glimpses of this project along the way — now it’s time to show you the finished result.
From stripping the original roof and dropping the chimney, to repairing and replacing the timberwork, installing a completely new tiled roof, black painted fascias, deep-flow guttering and downpipes, along with a new soil pipe and gas run.
The exterior was then completely transformed with a breathable lime render system, finished in white spray cork with a contrasting black cork plinth supplied by .cork
Old → stripped back → rebuilt → transformed.
A huge amount of work has gone into this one, and we’re extremely pleased with the finished result. 👌

Another property completely transformed using our premium Spray Cork Render System.
The existing render had reached the end of its lifespan, so we stripped the property back to the original substrate and rebuilt the entire system correctly from the ground up.
Works completed: • Full hack-off of the existing render. • Breathable base coat applied. • Full reinforcement mesh installed throughout. • New render beads fitted to all corners and reveals. • Colour-matched primer applied. • Finished in Natural White Spray Cork. • Plinth finished in Brick Red Spray Cork.

We recently completed specialist lime repointing works to the upper façade of this beautiful period property in South London.
The project focused on the decorative top section of the building, where the original mortar joints had deteriorated over time. Our team carefully raked out the existing pointing by hand to preserve the character of the brickwork before repointing the entire upper elevation using traditional NHL lime mortar.
The contrast between the completed upper section and the untouched lower elevation highlights the impact that sympathetic restoration can have on period properties. The upper brickwork now appears cleaner, sharper and far more defined, with the natural colour of the brickwork enhanced by the breathable lime finish.
Unlike modern cement mortars, NHL lime allows the building to breathe and move naturally, making it particularly suitable for historic and Victorian properties such as this one. The restored upper section retains the property's original character while providing long-term protection against weathering and moisture retention.
By comparison, the lower section still displays the darker, more weathered appearance associated with ageing mortar and years of environmental exposure, demonstrating the significant visual improvement achieved through traditional lime repointing techniques.
Another successful restoration project completed by SWV Plastering Ltd, preserving the heritage and character of South London's period architecture.

Part 4 of this transformation 👊
Roof stripped, prepped and now coming back together properly with a full new felt and batten system, ready for the final finish. Every stage on this project has been carried out with attention to detail and built to last — no shortcuts, just quality workmanship from start to finish. The drone shots really show the scale of this one 🔥🏠
Big progress being made now and this property is starting to completely change appearance. Stay tuned for the final reveal.

Part 3 of the project 🔨
Progress is moving nicely on this one as we step into the roofing stage. We’re currently stripping back the existing tiles and clearing all materials from site, keeping everything tidy and controlled as we go.
With the roof taken back, we’re now installing new breathable felt and treated battens—setting the foundation for a high-performance finish that’s built to last.
