A few weeks ago we had the pleasure to be invited to work on the Terrance Higgins Trust garden at this year’s RHS Chelsea flower shower! The THT Bridge to 2030 was designed by Matthew Childs and built by Yoreland Design, it was awarded a Silver Gilt Medal and The Best Garden Construction Award.

It was an honour to take some of Wales down to a slate quarry in the heart of SW3! We got to work with some incredible people including Leigh from Yorland, Matt and Swyn Anwyl who designed some ace furniture! Seeing Chelsea from the other side is always an experience in itself!!

Here is a montage of my face and some walls! If you would like to join my face and learn how to wall while just getting to hang out with me, I am teaching a course over wood from the 7-9th of June!

Over the 3 days we are going to start from scratch and work our way along rebuilding an ancient retaining wall that was originally used to hold the bank up on the main road down to Ruthin!!

We have been building old walls in sheds ready for our trip to RHS - Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea flower show in a few weeks!

We have been invited by Matt Childs Design to build the stone walls for The Terrence Higgins Trust garden at this years show!

This week with have been picking our stone from the Slate quarry up in Bleanau Ffestiniog as well as making a sample panel for Matt and Leigh form Yorland Design.

Spent the day with and making big plans for Chelsea Flower Show 2024! A lot of slate talk, rain and orange hi-vis!

We finished the large garden project which is made from a couple different limestones from Anglesey. Then a small curved entrance wall built from what was the remains of an old Clawdd.

Couple of weeks ago I got the pleasure of teaching over at Wernog Wood, in 3 days these newbies to walling built the first section of a big wall going up the ancient road that runs through the Wernog grounds!

This Friday I will be teaching a taster walling day, for Denbighshire County Council. It's a free session in Mount Woods, Denbigh. Get in touch and come along if you fancy getting to grips with some walling!!
