Do you feel confident in sending your children back to school?

Almost half of parent’s don’t feel confident in sending their children back to school after lockdown. A new poll by Ipsos MORI shows a clear divide between those who are very or fairly comfortable sending kids into school (41 per cent) and those who are not very or not at all comfortable with schools reopening (48 per cent).

Could this be due to the archaic systems we have in place? Would parents feel more comfortable when more advanced systems are put in place, such as sanitising areas and temperature scanners.

As the UK population awaits news of any relaxation on the lockdown measures, businesses have been drawing up plans to get back to work. Whilst a large number of businesses will continue to deploy home working, there are many industries and companies that need to return to the workplace and are reviewing government guidance to assess social distancing requirements.

Certain businesses can reconfigure the work environment and operate at 50% capacity to achieve social distancing. Yet many businesses can't incorporate that degree of reconfiguration. In addition to which, there are many challenges around fixed workstations and bottle-necks in areas such as lifts, receptions, corridors and toilets.
