Plus 4 Audio returned to Media City's Dock10 Studios in Salford last week for more Red Nose Day assignments!
As a long-time vendor to the BBC's Comic Relief broadcast, Plus 4 designed and implemented a zoned PA system and state-of-the-art control set-up while coordinating a highly skilled technical team for the week-long rehearsals.
Airing on BBC One and hosted by presenting royalty Davina McCall, this year's event brought together comedy titans Katherine Ryan, Nick Mohammed, Joel Dommett, and Catherine Tate to entertain the nation.
Sketches included performances from stars of Amandaland, The Traitors, and exclusive crime caper 'The Bank Job,' featuring Alison Hammond, Dermot O'Leary, and Idris Elba.
From celebrities going above and beyond on live TV to the huge efforts from schools, workplaces, and communities across the UK, Red Nose Day 2026 raised over £30 million, £4.2 of which came in support of BBC Radio presenter Greg James' 1,000km bike ride through England, Wales and Scotland.
These crucial funds will provide access to food, shelter, and a better life for more than 1.3 million people in the UK and abroad. As always, we’re proud to be involved.
