Define the full operating envelope first.

Set thermal, vibration and ingress requirements at the specification stage, not after the pack is designed.

If those limits come late, the enclosure, cell layout, sealing strategy and mounting approach all get compromised. Integration problems start there.

Build the battery around the application, the environment and the duty cycle.

Map the load, not just the pack. Size around continuous current, voltage drop, thermal limits and BMS behaviour across every market variant. Most battery issues are system design issues.

Need less integration friction?

Custom geometry is often the difference between a battery pack that fits the enclosure cleanly and one that forces redesigns across the whole system.

In compact equipment, millimetres matter. Terminal placement, height, footprint and cable exit points all affect assembly time, enclosure clearance and service access.

That is why OEM battery design should start with the application, not a standard case size.

Split them.

Capacity sets energy need. Duty cycle sets how often, how deep, and how long the pack works.

Cells need stronger support. Interconnects need fatigue resistance. BMS placement matters. Enclosures must control movement.

That is how packs survive real duty, not bench tests.

It shapes sealing strategy, connector choice, venting, cable exits and pack behaviour in the final application.

If the rating comes later, the enclosure often gets redesigned around the battery instead of the environment.

DM us if your LiFePO4 pack is losing life faster than it should.

A poor charge profile does more than slow charging. It increases stress, drives avoidable heat, and shortens usable battery life in commercial equipment.

In OEM systems, the charger profile has to match the chemistry, the duty cycle, and the real operating window. Get that wrong, and the battery ages early even when the rest of the system looks fine.
