Surface Preparation for basement waterproofing.
This pool plant are is scheduled to be waterproofed using a cement tanking system.
Cement based tanking systems need a physical and chemical key in order to bond to concrete and resist water pressure. As you can see from the before shot there was a lot of surface contamination.
Our site team quickly prepared the walls and slabs using the bush hammer technique so that the walls and slab were ready to be waterproofed.
