We initially thought this part of the project would take four weeks, however, for various reasons, it has turned into eleven! Some advised me to walk away…so to be now at the point to be pouring concrete for the first time is an amazing feeling! Sometimes success is just on the other side of failure 😄

Committed to meeting the programme deadline, our team is working throughout this weekend to push the ground works section of this project on…which has entailed removing nearly 250 cubic tonnes of concrete! We will soon begin pouring a new concrete slab, installation of new service pipework, insulation and wet underfloor heating throughout!

Having to crane the new windows into position was a challenge to say the least, but wow, they look amazing! Can’t wait to show the finished projects!!

New project started!! Stepping this one up a little, with a double-storey extension, plus converting the loft and garage!
