International Physicists' Tournament

The International Physicists' Tournament is a competition gathering university student teams from all around the World for unique "Physics Fights".

The International Physicists' Tournament was born in Ukraine in 2009 to perpetuate a long tradition of physics competitions in the USSR. It brought together 16 teams from the leading universities of Ukraine and neighboring countries. In the following years, the tournament was held in Kiev and Moscow. At the last, 15th edition in Paris, the IPT gathered 18 teams and more than 200 participants!

A short recap of our workshop with the best Paula Heron! ✨
Lots of inspiring conversations and written sheets of 📜

During the workshop participants listened to Paula's research about teaching physics in academia. Later on small groups had a small physics problem to solve, quite easy but with different paths to the solution.

The question is- Can we tell that physicists reason well in physics 🤔🤔❓

🏆 Here's the full ranking of the 18th International Physicists' Tournament

Congratulations to all participating teams for their remarkable efforts, scientific excellence, and dedication throughout the competition. The level of creativity and teamwork this year was truly inspiring.

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, organized, judged, and followed the tournament. Your enthusiasm and commitment made IPT 2026 an unforgettable event. We look forward to seeing you again at future editions of the International Physicists' Tournament!

[Podsumowanie IPT 2026]

Zdążyliśmy już trochę odetchnąć po tegorocznym Międzynarodowym Turnieju Fizyków (International Physicists' Tournament), który odbył się na Oklahoma State University w dniach 25-31 maja. W związku z tym, przyszła pora na post podsumowujący!

Na tegorocznym IPT rywalizowaliśmy z 20 drużynami z 18 krajów. Z dumą możemy stwierdzić, że po wielu nieprzespanych nocach i trzech dniach Physics Fightów, nasza reprezentacja wywalczyła zaszczytne 🏆 8. miejsce! 🏆
Tym samym zakwalifikowaliśmy się do przyszłorocznego IPT w Mediolanie 🇮🇹, z pominięciem preselekcji!
