Introducing the supremely talented Gil Sidaway Gil Sidaway , recently cast as our leading role of Charlie in I Know What We Are.

Gil managed to encapsulate both a youthfulness and depth of character required for this role.

Gil is an actor and voice artist of British and Portuguese descent.
Raised in Portugal, he moved to the UK eight years ago and works across stage, screen and audio.

Gil and Mattie had an instant chemistry that we knew would translate perfectly to screen. We can’t wait to show you.

Super excited to start sharing this project with you all…I Know What You Are is a contemplative coming-of-age film exploring identity, transformation and the search for meaning. Shooting on location across London in time for a 2026/2027 festival run. Follow along as we introduce you to the cast, crew and contributors as well as plenty of BTS of the production and announcements leading up to the film’s release.
