🏗️ Project Update from Apollo Construction 🏗️
A major milestone reached on this roof restoration project.
We have now completely stripped the existing roof coverings and exposed the original timber structure, allowing the structural engineer full access to carry out a detailed inspection and advise on the best approach for the rebuild.
This next stage is crucial in ensuring that any necessary structural repairs and timber replacements are carried out correctly before the roof is reconstructed.
After discussing the available options, the client has chosen not to reinstall the existing roof tiles. Instead, they have opted for a brand-new clay tile roof system, providing a more durable finish along with the benefit of a longer manufacturer-backed warranty and improved long-term performance.
With the roof now fully opened up, we’re looking forward to receiving the engineer’s recommendations and beginning the process of bringing this historic structure back to life with new timbers and a high-quality clay tile finish.
