A few days on and we're still energised by the conversations, connections and insights shared at the Oceania Renewable Power Summit 2026 in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland. ☀️

It was a great two days, connecting with industry leaders and decision-makers from across Oceania, and exchanging insights on the latest developments in renewable energy and energy storage.
A sincere thank you to everyone we had the opportunity to meet throughout the summit. The discussions around emerging opportunities, industry developments, and the future of renewable energy across the region were truly valuable.

☀️ At Utility Day London 2026, hosted by LONGi on 7 October at Ironmongers’ Hall in London, Alberto R. Rocha, Global Director of Business Development at INTEC Energy Solutions, participated as a speaker in the panel discussion titled “From Design to Delivery: Managing Project Risk,” where he shared insights on the important role of EPC contractors in supporting the financial viability and successful delivery of renewable energy projects, particularly in and .

We also explored the key points to consider when structuring standalone BESS projects to make them a reality, drawing on our current experience delivering renewable energy and battery storage projects across Australasia and Europe.

With approximately 1.5 GWh of BESS in hybrid developments underway across Australasia, alongside a growing presence in Europe and a global portfolio exceeding 5 GWp of Solar PV and BESS, INTEC continues to demonstrate its experience in delivering large-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects.

It was a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives alongside representatives from Lightsource bp and Cero Generation, discussing the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of renewable energy and .

INTEC Strengthens Connections Across Asia-Pacific Renewable Energy Opportunities 🌏

INTEC Energy Solutions was pleased to participate in the recent Invest New Zealand delegation to South Korea and Japan, represented by Amin Kalam, Director of Strategy & Development. Across Seoul and Tokyo, we met with utilities, investors, financial institutions, developers, and engineering groups to discuss opportunities across the Australian and New Zealand renewable energy markets.

A clear theme from the visit was the level of international interest in the region, and the importance of having strong local partners who can turn opportunities into deliverable projects.

We shared INTEC’s experience across large-scale solar and battery storage and explored opportunities spanning project development, EPC, long-term O&M, strategic partnerships and investment. For INTEC, this is also part of our journey beyond individual EPC contracts, building a broader renewable infrastructure platform that brings together project development, delivery, long-term operations and strategic partnerships.

A big thank you to Invest New Zealand, everyone involved in organising the programme, and all those who took the time to meet with us. We came away with some great relationships and conversations to continue.
