Our June Garden of the Month is UCLA Mathias Botanical Garden.

Set within the UCLA campus in Los Angeles, the Garden is a 7.5-acre living museum, outdoor classroom and urban oasis, home to more than 1,500 plant species from around the world.

The full feature was put together by Josh Brindley, PhD, Living Collections Curator, and the team at UCLA Mathias Botanical Garden. It takes readers through the Garden’s history, The Collections Project and the work shaping its next chapter.

Havard's in Austin, Texas this week for the Center for Plant Conservation National Meeting.

This year's theme, Preserving Plants, Sustaining Places, focuses on the connection between rare plants, the habitats that support them, and the conservation work taking place across nurseries, seed banks, research collections and natural landscapes.

We’re really pleased to feature Shoalhaven Heads Native Botanic Garden as May’s Garden of the Month, taking us back to New South Wales, Australia.

Home to more than 550 native plant species and cared for entirely by volunteers, their story shows what can grow from community care, conservation and some seeds brought back from a holiday.
