These two images show a key stage of one of our extension projects —
a phase that is rarely showcased, yet critical to the success of the build: structural opening and preparation for steel beam (RSJ) installation.

At this stage:
• The load-bearing wall has been carefully removed
• Temporary structural support has been installed
• The structure is prepared to safely transfer loads from the upper floor

What’s often overlooked is that the final result months later depends entirely on the precision of these “messy” early stages.
This is where calculations, on-site experience, and proper site management must align.

📅 This project is scheduled to move into its next phase in July, with final arrangements already in place.

A small machine solving a big UK construction problem.

In many countries, excavation means open space and easy access.
In the UK, it often means working through a narrow side alley between two houses — sometimes less than a metre wide.

This video shows how we use compact mini diggers to pass through tight residential access and still excavate foundations safely and efficiently.

For builders from parts of Asia, the Middle East, or Europe, this setup can look surprising.
But in the UK, this is daily reality:
• Terraced and semi-detached houses
• Limited rear access
• No space for standard machinery
