👋Good afternoon everyone🎉 I’m very proud to announce that I’m now taking bookings to “Bring new life to old things” 😊 GDH Builders is back baby! With thanks to our amazing NHS and a lot of hard work I’m back and I feel amazing, fitter than I’ve been for a very long time👍🏻 I’ve been running projects for another company in the mean time but now can’t wait to get my tools back in my hand doing the job I truly love. I’m very fortunate that my Job is my passion.

🏁The Mulbarton Porch 😱🤗 🥰
Old MDF surround removed for a returning customer to GDH Builders, they requested an oak porch to be built in it’s place to give some cover over their front door on those very much “English weather” days.
Proud of this one it looks amazing. Slate hip roof, oak frame all hand crafted and prepped on site and placed on some cool little 9” walls crowned with cream stone capping to match the details on the house.

Well happy Monday to you all it’s been a dusty old start to the week but a very productive and happy one 😁. Love seeing my customers smiles once they start to see their new open space. Tomorrow we have the electrician back in to finish relocating the light switches and we can start making good.

Lovely elderly lady walked past us working yesterday and she said she had a leak and asked if we could help as her bucket kept filling up😱
Popped in and yes the bucket was full so we emptied it found a disused flue for an old boiler which was the issue. We returned this morning to remove the old flue and repaired the roof just in time for the bad weather heading our way. Nice easy repair but one very happy lady.

Today we enjoyed abit of maintenance on a rental property. Repointing a chimney, a cement verge repair, then replacing a couple of broken roof tiles and we were also asked to investigate and repair a damp issue which the tenants had noticed. One wetroom repair later in the neighbouring room and we were all done. Another happy customer and onto the next.
