Whipple W185AX 3.0litre Stage 2 Supercharger for a Mustang GT 5.0L sent to Kasaimoto for investigation and health inspection. Unit stripped fully cleaned, inspected and rebuilt with fresh lubricants.

Rotor coating… there are different types across Supercharger manufacturers…..A few images showing from a Kasaimoto recoated M45 through healthy TVS OEM Abradable coating in perfect condition to a run in TVS and finally M112 delamination.
The abradable coating is designed to erode away in close tolerance Rotors where they interact….delamination is a different matter.

Audi 3.OL TVS R1320 Supercharger sent to us for inspection due to significant noise level from the unit.
This is a situation of not keeping the front Transmission case at the correct Oil level. Bearings and bushes have seriously deteriorated with fine particles in the oil that remained. Unfortunately for this unit the cost to repair was not viable to the customer

Jaguar TVS R1900 Supercharger required Rear needle rollers and jack shaft bearings. Conversion to solid drive coupler from notoriously weak and problematic spring type.

Kasaimoto R53 Cooper s Cat back 63mm non centre res exhaust…. Featuring full Tig welded construction in 304L Stainless, Tig merge collector/divider, high flow perf twin silencers…..Aluminium construction with high temp coating and Hard Anodised end caps with Stainless trim leading to High temp coated Aluminium Hard Anodised Black tail pipes. A fun project.
