We are recruiting for an Office Administrative Assistant to join the team at Spray Plaster Specialists Ltd. Full and part time hours considered and an immediate start would be possible for the right candidate. Competitive salary based on experience.

The successful applicant will possess excellent administration skills working closely with Directors and Commercial Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

Booking of hotels and accommodation
Managing contracts of self employed
Collating delivery notes and filing
Monitoring purchase orders
General administration
Assisting with VAT
Ordering of stationary and consumable items
*Working knowledge of Microsoft is desirable*

APPRENTICE PLASTERER OPPORTUNITY

If you would like a lifelong career in construction and to earn while you learn then an apprenticeship with SPS Ltd will be perfect for you.

We work with top construction firms and are currently looking for willing Plastering Apprentices in the Midlands or North West area.

We focus on all aspects of plastering but predominently Spray Plastering which would be an extra to to the NVQ. This is a great opportunity as spray plastering is fast becoming more popular.

A Plastering Apprenticeship will cover, but is not limited to, the following criteria -

Heath and Safety
Dry Lining, floating and skimming walls
Plastering techniques
Repairs
Restoration
Internal and external projects
Renders
Decorative plaster works
With no experience necessary, an apprenticeship is perfect for those coming out of education (GSCE’s, A-levels or college) or someone who wants a career change.

Generally, apprentices spend 4 days at a work placement gaining evidence for their NVQ and 1 day at college learning and gaining relevant diplomas.
