Are you a recently qualified Quantity Surveyor looking to kick-start your career within the Groundworks and Civil Engineering sector?
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of residential and commercial projects while working alongside experienced commercial and operational professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
📐 Measuring and quantifying construction drawings
💷 Preparing cost estimates, valuations and project budgets
📊 Monitoring project costs and supporting cost control measures
📅 Assisting with work programmes and project planning
🤝 Supporting procurement and subcontractor management
🚧 Attending site visits, progress meetings and client meetings
📋 Assessing project variations and contractual requirements
📈 Supporting business development and future project opportunities
What We're Looking For:
✅ Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
✅ Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
✅ Excellent communication and organisational skills
✅ Good understanding of construction processes and commercial principles
✅ Competent in Microsoft Excel and relevant software packages
✅ Full UK Driving Licence
✅ Right to work in the UK
