This was great to be part of. It’s nice to be able to help out and provide something for all the children to enjoy. Massive thanks to all the companies who contributed. Foxhall Plant and Tool Hire Jewsons Louth & GBM
The Wellbeing Shed had its grand opening with students and special guests who raised the funds needed for the summerhouse!
With the dedication of our community we now have a fantastic space where students can access support for their mental health. SHED is an acronym used within school for supporting mental health that stands for sleep, hydrate, exercise and diet so it seemed only appropriate to use that in the name!
A HUGE thank you from us to Blaze Competitions, Grimoldby FC and LN Glazing who all helped in organising and raising so much money for the summerhouse in the charity football match that took place on Saturday 15th March. The support from a lot of people before and during this day made it a huge success.
Thank you to the businesses who turned up to offer their services who all made it that little bit more special, this includes Bar and Away, Woodshed Pizzas, After Dusk and Handmade by Rachael who all donated money on the day of the event.
Also, another HUGE thank you to Dave and Shane from Dave Ward Builders Ltd who went out of their way to source the materials required but also for giving their time to lay the base for the summerhouse for free. Thank you to all the suppliers who donated the materials, Foxhall Plant Hire, Jewsons Louth Branch, GBM Waste.
Funds that were raised during the Secret Santa at Christmas within school have been used to purchase the bench in The Wellbeing Shed as well as money raised from other events throughout the school year to help resource the space. Finally a thank you to Russ our site caretaker who combined all the winning designs from our plaque competition to create the final piece of The Wellbeing Shed.
