As Chief Engineer, I can report it's been an extremely busy time for us at East of England Sailplanes. We have a new apprentice, Chris Armstrong, who has shown good prospects at the start of his aircraft engineering career. Kevin, the Geordy has been busy with the Auster. Richard Colenso busy with glider annuals. Alex completing a short notice 50 hour check on Falke G-HBOS. The 'boss' has been working like a busy bee during honey season. Even Tim Treadaway has stepped in, to help with the busy period, finding time in between his first officers' job on corporate fast jets. Meanwhile, I have been supervising this all from the top of the stairs, and cracking the whip when it is needed- to ensure all our jobs get out on time, and to a high standard!
