ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE A6 CASTLEDAWSON RBOUT

The Castledawson Roundabout will be closed for 4 NIGHTS from Monday 18th to Friday 22nd May 8pm - 6am.

The roundabout will then be fully closed during the day on Sunday 24th May from 6am - 6pm.

The Magherafelt Road will be closed for resurfacing on Monday 25th of May between Castledawson roundabout and Tamnadeese Road. The closure times will be 9.00am to 4.30pm

This closure is to accommodate major asphalt resurfacing work and drainage improvements on the roundabout and some approach legs.

All diversion routes will be signed and traffic marshals will be provided for guidance. Businesses will be open as usual and local access will be provided for residents. Please share

P.Keenan are delighted to have completed a major carriageway improvement scheme at Ferry Road Coalisland for our valued client DfI Roads. The scheme involved full reconstruction of 500m of carriageway, installation of Geogrid / Geotextile reinforcing mesh, diversion of services and drainage improvements.

Previous BBC news coverage reported the ferry road as being one of the worst roads in Northern Ireland and this project by Department for Infrastructure has been highly commended.
