News: Big news for Northern Ireland’s manufacturing industry!

Five local manufacturing firms are collaborating with the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC) on a £7.9m R&D project to boost productivity and innovation. 🤝

Project 4WARD will help companies adopt digital and automation technologies in welding processes – improving efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting new product development.

With our support, the project will also create 21 high-quality roles and strengthen skills for the future of manufacturing.

Partners include Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Terex Corporation, Nugent Engineering, Four Dee NI Ltd and Datum Tool Design. 👏

This is collaboration in action — helping local businesses innovate and scale.
