A log grab arm attachment from last week. Had a lot of fun completely rebuilding a new arm out of 10/12mm plate and changed the designs slightly to add strength, ready to get back to work for the customer

Today's job was an emergency call out to repair a hydraulic ram bracket on a piling rig, left it looking a lot better than I found it

For the last few months I’ve been working on a project for myself and have built myself a 100+ ton hydraulic press ‘Sylvest the press’ (the name is an inside joke). It has all been built completely from scratch apart from the ram. Most of it is made out of 25mm plate except the table top which is 30mm. Needless to say I’m over the moon with the outcome and the hand painting looks amazing. I would like to give a shout out to Peter Lawrence who has helped with all the hydraulics, wiring in the foot pedal, helping out with ideas in general and planted the idea in the first place. Videos coming of what it can do!
