We have a job vacancy for a BENCH JOINER.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years bench joinery experience and be able to work to job specifications. The role includes setting out and producing cutting lists, setting up and using woodworking machinery for the production of various types of bespoke windows, doors and other non-standard joinery.

Hours of work - Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am to 2.30pm (40 hours per week). Overtime available during busy periods.

Wage dependant on experience.

Own transport to work is essential.

29 days paid holiday per year including bank holidays.

Company pension/Auto enrolment.

Full-time permanent position.

SkillBuild is the largest and longest running multi-trade competition in the UK for construction apprentices and learners.

A fantastic achievement and testament to Jack’s hard work and dedication over the last 4 years.

Job vacancy for an APPRENTICE BENCH JOINER

We are looking for an apprentice bench joiner to join our team.

You need to be committed, and have a desire to learn the processes involved in bench joinery. You will be trained to use hand tools and machinery to manufacture bespoke windows, doors and other non standard joinery.

You need to have any eye for detail, a willingness to learn, be well mannered, and have good time keeping.

You will also attend York College.

Hours of work - Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.00am to 2.30pm (40 hours per week).

Own transport to work is essential.

29 days paid holiday per year including bank holidays.
