⚒️ Not every patio problem needs a full replacement. Sometimes the issue is simply what’s happening underneath.
On this project we tracked down a slab with movement and lifted it carefully to investigate. After cutting out the affected area, we broke out the old bedding layer and removed any loose or failing material. Once exposed, the sub-base was checked, corrected and compacted properly before rebuilding the foundation and relaying the slab.
Getting the groundwork right is what prevents future rocking, movement and cracked joints. It’s the part nobody sees, but it’s the part that makes the difference between a repair that lasts and one that fails again a few months later.
