🚧Before and after of our latest job🚧
The customer contacted us to remove and rebuild some really old,uneven steps that were limiting some of their family’s access to the property.
Over the years, the customer has had several tradespeople come to look at this job but all have declined to take it on due to it being too complex.
Therefore, we are delighted that we have been able to complete the customer’s wishes and they are over the moon with the results!
We removed all of the old steps, excavated a hell of a lot of earth by hand and then rebuilt the new, equal height, easily accessible steps.
To retain the high-level garden, we created a retaining wall with wooden sleepers on one side, and on the other, a feature wall made up of stone that was part of the original garden retainer.
We put the finishing touches to the job by adding new wooden posts for the walkway lights then fitted the existing lights to them, and finally, finishing the job with golden gravel around areas of the steps and along the top of the retaining wall.
As always, the health and safety of our customers come first, so we designed and supplied a scaffolding staircase to the high-level garden so that there was an alternative safe access while the works were carried out.
