As a proud partner of the Manchester Society of Architects (MSA), Tenmat was delighted to take part in a recent CPD event alongside OFR Consultants and RGB Facades Limited at RGB's Manchester showroom.

Grant Barlow delivered an in-depth session on the role of cavity fire barriers within the building envelope, helping to support a wider discussion around passive fire protection and fire-safe design.

A big thank you to Paul Iddon and Courtney McLoughlin of MSA for organising the event, and to Craig Winstanley and George Dickinson of RGB Facades for hosting us in their fantastic showroom.

It was great to see so many young architects in attendance, engaging with the latest best practice and contributing to some valuable industry discussions.

☕🧁 This week, we held our annual Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning, and what a fantastic spread it was!

From cakes that were lovingly baked to treats that were carefully bought, our amazing colleagues really rose to the occasion. Highlights included multiple Moroccan delights from Mohammed-Ali Aslam, a divine cheesecake from Halina, and, of course, Jen Howarth's crowd-pleasing Victoria sponge, which disappeared faster than you can say "second slice"!

Most importantly, thanks to everyone's generosity, we raised an incredible £562.80 for such a worthwhile cause. It's proof that when we come together, great things can happen and a little kindness can go a long way.

A huge well done to everyone involved. You should all take a bow... and maybe another piece of cake too. 🍪
