Today marks a very proud moment for our family and for Sheridan Lifts.

We’re delighted to welcome Holly Sheridan to the business, officially becoming the Fourth generation of the Sheridan family to join the company.

Founded by Stanley Sheridan, and now led by Tony Sheridan,
Sheridan Lifts has always been built on family values, long-term relationships, hard work and a genuine commitment to delivering the highest standards of service to our customers.

Seeing Holly begin her journey within the business is something incredibly special for all of us. It represents not only the continued growth of Sheridan Lifts, but also the continuation of the values and culture that have shaped the company over the years.

With increased building use, reduced staffing, and maintenance delays over bank holidays, the risk of people getting stuck in lifts can rise. If you’re responsible for a building, now’s the time to double-check:

🔧 Are your lifts properly maintained and inspected?
📞 Is your emergency call system fully operational?
👷‍♂️ Do you have a clear response plan in place if someone gets trapped?

Sheridan Lifts are delighted to announce the contract renewal of the Stockport Homes Group Lift Maintenance contract for a further 5 years!

Our working relationships the key stakeholders and communication played a huge part in our renewal and we are excited to continue our excellent working relationship within the local community of Stockport.

Out with the old, in with the new! ⚙️

30 years of faithful service — and now a brand new chapter begins! Sheridan Lifts has just completed the full replacement of a winding unit, fitting a new motor, brake unit and gearbox with precision-fabricated bed plates matched to the exact rope pitch.

Fully load tested. Fully signed off. Ready for another 30 years. ✅
