They'll be bringing large-scale floral installations, native planting and a celebration of urban green life to the city centre.⁠

Every plant has been sourced from UK nurseries, and when the festival closes, the garden doesn't end there. The whole display will form the entrance to St Catherine's Wood in Red Bank, a new public urban forest.

We recently invited a beloved Manuncian institution, , over to Red Bank to host a floristry class for our residents.⁠

We had an evening of learning the basics from master florists, getting creative and catching up with neighbours. The best bit? Everyone walked away with their very own handmade bouquet to take home 💐⁠

Victoria North, which the Red Bank neighbourhood is a part of, has been confirmed as one of just seven locations on the Government's New Towns shortlist 📍🏠⁠

It's a major milestone for Red Bank and for Manchester, backing a vision that's already well underway: 15,000 new homes, 46 hectares of parkland, new schools, health facilities and a future Metrolink stop, all connected by City River Park along the River Irk. ⁠
