And so begins our latest project, a rather large extension to the rear of a Georgian property in a conservation area. Working closely with the local conservation team we have had to demolish brick by brick, clean and reuse the existing brick, crwte sample panels and match the original lime and black Ash coloured mortar.

Of course as always perfection, safety and tidiness is our main criteria.

Big Project Update

Big rad, small rad, room is a box .... at the request of the customer we supplied big heat for a small room! In addition our engineers supplied and fitted a new Baxi boiler with 10 year warranty, tested, commissioned and certified to all current legislation and standards under their Gas Safe Certifications! Another hot finish for Base Contracting Ltd!

What do you do when your daughter gets too many teddies? You call Base Contracting Ltd to make more space. Starting with a blank canvas this room is now fit for a little Princess. With a new custom cabin bed with box storage, hiding hole underneath and ample shelving for her books, a desk for homework and of course 2 new double sockets for all the technology needed I think this little girl will be very happy!

Anyone who says they're perfect and gets it right first time, everytime are telling porky pies! Here at Base Contracting Ltd we have a culture of ensuring that if we screw up we put it right at no additional expense to te customer, we never bodge it and we never try to paper the cracks - here we ordered the wrong brick size but didn't realise until it the beds started drifting! How did we fix it, knocked it down, ordered the right ones and started again. Yes, a little inconvenience to the customer but definitely for the right result - DO IT RIGHT OR DONT DO IT AT ALL!
