What an amazing day IGEM - Institution of Gas Engineers & Managers NW Xmas gathering.

A great day to mix with some great companies and talented engineers from the Gas Industry. As you can see there were some great sponsors of the event and I’m sure the charities will be pleased with the monies raised.

I sponsored the event with two tables, and also provided the ladies from Sketched by me to create a little gift to those that stopped for a sketch. Great coincidence on early of this month, my 3 specialities, combined in one place, For the Safety Pro’s on here, we were just setting up so I’ve not got all my PPE on or the SLG out the van, Westminster council opened the hatch just to check the ladder so managed a Quick pic.

1. I’m acting As SCO 1&2 for confined Space entry on this hatch on Victoria Embankment outside Somerset House.

2. This is the hatch used in the SCO Training ( Safe Control of Operations) that we deliver, it’s mentioned in Module 2 PTW part C. (AE)

3. I’ll be sitting on a bench next to the entry point which was sponsored by The IEE in 1977! For info I’m an Compex trained Electrical engineer within the Gas industry and also cover Electrical training required to gain EL6 registration.

Who are Jason Rowley LTD?

You probably don’t know of us as we rarely advertise our services. But we have been growing quite fast over the last 5 years:
- We are specialists in the Gas industry
- We deliver all the mandatory training required to become a Competent person for SCO 1&2
- We also deliver Training to support your EL6 registration and are adding more specialist training for the pipeline and O&M operatives.

Our trainers have worked in the industry on site and managed, so they have years of experience that they can share to help you gain knowledge, not just a certificate.

But we don’t just train! We support clients across Cadent or National Gas that require a Competent person, supervisors, EL6 support or other specialist requirements.

We have over a dozen registered Cadent SCO 1&2 and SCO 91 CP’s available all year round.
No project is too small or too Big.

Jason Rowley LTD CP’s don’t just hold PtW via RA, they are highly experienced CP’s working in the gas industry with over 400 years experience between them, we can cover all PtW Types:
- Excavations,
- Confined Space
- Hotworks for welding
- demolition
- lifting Operations
- Working at height
- Electrical works

We also have registered EL6 AP’s and Inst Techs.

We can also act as CP for Non-Routine Operations for pipelines, Mechanical, Electrical, Control and instrumentation decommissioning and commissioning.

No job is too complex for our team. Our team are here to help you with your Projects, we have mobilised same day to cover sickness / training or long term for a full site rebuilds.

We have supported a large number of clients, having an experienced CP on site helps them complete Projects within timescales with Safety being the number one priority.
