Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of welcoming pupils from a local school into the RHF Fans factory for National Manufacturing Day.

It was fantastic to give them a look behind the scenes and show them what a career in modern manufacturing can look like.

As you can see from the photographs, they had a brilliant time!

On Thursday 24th September, we’ll be welcoming local schools to RHF Fans to see UK manufacturing in action.
Students will have the chance to tour the factory, meet the team and see how our industrial fans are designed, made and tested here in Irlam.

Well, it’s officially September… 🎒🍂

The children are back at school, the summer holidays are over and the evenings are already getting darker.

Before we fully embrace autumn, the RHF team have been looking back at their lovely holidays, with their RHF Fans socks firmly packed in their suitcases! 🧦☀️

Each new chapter has strengthened our ability to design and manufacture high-quality, bespoke industrial fans here in Manchester.

We are incredibly proud of how far we have come, and even more excited about what lies ahead.

At RHF Fans, women currently make up 19% of our workforce and 38% of our management team. 👩‍🏭

We’re proud that women are represented in leadership across the business, but Women’s Equality Day is also an opportunity to recognise how much further manufacturing still has to go.

Equality is not simply about employing more women. It means ensuring women have the same opportunities to contribute, develop and lead at every level of a business.

Our factory floor remains male-dominated, and we know there is more work to do. We want to play our part by challenging outdated perceptions, advocating for women in manufacturing and helping the next generation see that every area of the industry is open to them.

We’re not claiming to have all the answers, but we are committed to improving and creating more opportunities.
