Couple of jobs wiped up this week! From a tiny shower tray/enclosure, to a much more “breathable” one in its place. Came across numerous problems during the renewal of this one, but we got it done nonetheless!
Boiler pipework moved to make room for a new bathroom, opening up more space for much more to be added, magnetic filter cleaned in the process free of charge, would’ve been rude not to give it a good service 😉🤩 and last but not least… and outdoor tap 🥰😂

The diary is getting so full at the moment, cannot thank everyone enough for helping the business continue to grow!! Another one over the line, today we added the pivot return panel, as the wrong one got delivered last week! Bath removal and new shower. Magnetic filter added onto this heating system. Why is it beneficial to have one? Here’s a little example why they could save you money in the long run:

1. Protects the boiler (especially modern ones)
Modern boilers like those from Worcester Bosch or Vaillant have very narrow heat exchangers.
Sludge can block these easily, causing:
• Overheating
• Lockouts
• Expensive repairs or full heat exchanger replacement

2. Keeps radiators heating properly
Sludge settles in radiators (usually the bottom), leading to:
• Cold spots
• Uneven heating
• Reduced heat output

A magnetic filter continuously removes that circulating debris.

3. Improves efficiency
Cleaner water = better heat transfer.
That means:
• Boiler doesn’t have to work as hard
• Lower gas usage
• Cheaper bills over time

4. Extends system lifespan
Without a filter, sludge slowly damages:
• Pumps
• Valves
• Heat exchangers

With one fitted, the whole system lasts longer.

If your system doesn’t have one, now might be the time to consider!
