We are hiring! - Accounts Administrator 🤩
Job Description:
Due to our company growing so quickly, Suction Excavation UK Ltd is looking for a highly organised and proactive Accounts Administrator to join our team at our March depot.
This is a key role within the business, focused on supporting day-to-day office operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring effective communication between departments and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage invoices accurately and in a timely manner, including reviewing and coding documentation
- Support billing and payment processes, ensuring all data is recorded correctly
- Maintain and update internal databases with accurate financial and operational information
- Act as a point of contact for calls, emails, and day-to-day enquiries, directing where required
- Liaise with customers and external companies to chase information, documents, and updates
- Upload and manage documentation across customer portals, ensuring all required data is correctly submitted
- Provide general administrative support across the business to assist office operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or accounts-based role (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently while supporting a wider team
